Southwest Airlines is a domestic discount carrier with its main hub at Love Field airport in Dallas. Southwest's over 3,000 daily flights serve major airports throughout the United States in 68 cities, including Las Vegas, Denver, New Orleans and Nashville. Southwest offers its passengers complimentary drinks (non-alcoholic) and snacks on board every flight. Southwest's baggage policy allows for two checked bags at no cost; overweight and additional bags accrue a fee.

US Airways operates hubs in the Charlotte/Douglas International Airport, Philadelphia International Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. It is a member of the Star Alliance. With its main hub in Atlanta, Delta also operates large hubs in Cincinnati, JFK and Salt Lake City. Delta flies to over 370 destinations in almost 90 countries on six continents, including Africa (the only major domestic carrier to do so). Delta is a member of the Skyteam Alliance.
