List of Hotels in Scarborough

Scarborough, Ontario, is situated right off the coastline of the Great Lake Ontario and just northeast of Toronto. This provides visitors the opportunity to take up a vast number of water activities, from boating to swimming and a wide number of beach games. The downside, however, is the lack of inexpensive hotels in the area, where you will be hard pressed to find a room for less than $70 a night.

Super 8 Toronto East

Althgough not exactly the definition of high class, the Super 8 Toronto hotel is one of the least expensive hotels in the city at around $74 a night. You will be on the outskirts of town, closer to Toronto than if you were in the middle of Scarborough. There are a few amenities provided in all rooms, such as satellite TV and microwaves (in some rooms). There is also an indoor pool in case the weather turns nasty.

Travelodge Toronto East

If you are looking for a slight upgrade for a slight increase of price (around $86 a night), try the Travelodge Toronto East. You will have access to the indoor swimming pool, the on-site restaurant and a dry cleaning service. All rooms have cable TVs and coffeemakers, as well as Internet access (if you don't mind the slow dial-up speed). There are also microwaves and refrigerators available upon request.

Delta Toronto East

If your'e looking for a hotel with a little more elegance and don't mind paying for it, head to the Delta Toronto East hotel. It is situated close to the water so you wont have to travel far to the beach. In all rooms you will find a free coffee machine, safe deposit box, cable TV and hairdryer. You will also have access to the pool, fitness center, on-site restaurant, bar and complimentary newspaper. Pets are also allowed in the hotel.
