The Best Tasting Energy Bars
Energy bars are calorie-dense snacks designed to provide athletes and outdoor adventurers with an energy boast while on the move. While many are average in flavor, a few stand out as the best tasting.

Clif Bars

Clif Bar, according to its website, was started when its founder thought, "I could make a better bar than this." It offers a wide range of 70 percent organic energy bars. The Crunchy Peanut Butter, a mix of peanut butter and peanut pieces, is a staple. It contains 250 calories and all-natural ingredients.

Big Sur Bars

The original Big Sur Bar is a hearty bar layered with chewy oatmeal on the bottom and a mix of nuts, brown sugar and honey on top. All Big Sur Bars are freshly baked without additives, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. With over 650 calories per bar, it packs a big energy punch in a small tasty package.

Luna Bars

Luna Bars, according to its website, are created by and for women. They're 70 percent organic and are developed to deliver the vitamins and minerals a woman's body needs. The Chai Tea flavor is its best-tasting energy bar with a base of chai and black tea mixed with cinnamon, cardamom and vanilla cream. Most Luna Bars provide less calories---about 180---than a typical energy bar.

Pro Bars

The Maple Pecan flavor from Pro Bar is likened to "sitting down to a delectable maple syrup pancakes." This 3-oz. energy bar yields 400 calories. All Pro Bars are 100 percent Vegan, meaning they don't contain any animal products. They are made from organic, raw ingredients. Pro Bar offers a wide variety of interesting flavors, like Sesame Goji, Superfood Slam and Koka-Moka.
