Connie Hansen Garden Conservancy

Constance Hansen, a recognized horticulturalist, moved to Lincoln City in 1973 and began developing her personal garden. Following her death in 1993, the garden and Connie's famous irises have been tended and cared for by a conservancy. Today the garden stands as a park open during daylight hours with trails to explore and various species of flowers to appreciate. The Garden Conservancy is all volunteer, so the purchase of a plant or a donation is appreciated. Guided tours are also available.

Bicycling

Lincoln City has adopted wide shoulders and specific bicycle lanes to become a destination for cyclists. A trail circles Devil's Lake, and several other paths crisscross the town. The Lincoln City Visitor Center is a great place to start with a map and a word of advice from a local guide. Don't miss the western route that follows the coast, offering ocean views to one side and forest and community on the other.
