List of Waikiki Hotels
The birthplace of surfing, Waikiki is on the island of Oaho, Hawaii. It's a haven for outdoor lovers passionate about water sports. Opportunities abound for boating, fishing, water-skiing, snorkeling and hiking on the miles of trails that run throughout the island. Plus, the nearby Ko'olau Mountains have plenty of hiking and biking opportunities. Check out the 75-acre rainforest or numerous water falls. However, no matter your chosen adventure sport, surfing is the name of the game here, and you should definitely give it a try. The North Shore boasts of some of the biggest, most sought after waves in the world, and Waikiki Beach is the perfect place for beginner surfers. The first hotel in the area was the Moana Surfrider, built in 1901. Since then hundreds more have sprung up. Here is a list of three excellent hotels.
