An all-inclusive resort can take the stress out of a tropical vacation. You don't need to worry about losing your wallet on the beach, or going beyond the limits of your credit card. While many resort companies offer all-inclusive vacations, some are more suited to outdoor enthusiasts.

Curtain Bluff, Antigua

Curtain Bluff boasts a prime location on the southern tip of Antigua. This small, all-inclusive resort only has 73 rooms, which makes it a desirable location for anyone who favors uncrowded, outdoor activities over wild parties. In addition to your room, three daily meals and bar drinks, water skiing, snorkeling, scuba diving, sea kayaking, wind surfing and deep seas fishing are included in the rates. Instruction in these activities is also included. According to their 2010 rate chart, nightly rates range from $645 to $3,900, depending on the size and location of your room. Rates are based on double occupancy.

La Source, Grenada

Grenada appeals to the total outdoor enthusiast. Unlike other island locations, which tend to be relatively flat, Grenada is mountainous. Thus, water sport enthusiasts can also spend a day hiking through the island's many trails. La Source is Granada's premiere, all-inclusive resort. It offers scuba diving, scuba certification, snorkeling, windsurfing and ocean kayaking. Land lovers can enjoy golf, archery, tennis, cycling and a full-service gym. In 2009, rates per person, per night ranged from $275 to $657, depending on the season and location of the room. Spa and beauty parlor services, as well as trips out of the resort are not included.

Playa Grande Surf Camp in Costa Rica

The Playa Grande Surf camp in Costa Rica is an all-inclusive surf resort. Their certified instructors offer beginner and intermediate surf lessons. Advanced surfers can take surf tours with experienced surf guides. The resort is located near the National Park Marino Las Baulas, which is a well-known turtle-hatching sanctuary The rates include free bicycle rentals, should you want to take a day out of the water to explore the area. In 2009. all-inclusive rates for a seven day, seven night vacation were $1,225 per person for single occupancy, $945 per person for double occupancy, $750 per person for triple occupancy and $700 per person for quad occupancy.
