Medieval Times
A knight entertains a young lady at Medieval Times.
Medieval Times is the most classic dinner adventure experience in Anaheim. Enjoy a hearty meal while watching jousts, archery and other authentic reenactments of an 11th century medieval tournament. The costumes and weapons are historically accurate, and the stage fighting is top-notch. Kids love the adventure, and parents love the pageantry.
Dinner generally consists of roast chicken, but there is a vegetarian option available consisting of a stuffed mushroom cap. There are no eating utensils allowed in the hall. If you come with children, be prepared for a mess.

Pirates Dinner Adventure
Pirates on the ship at Pirates Dinner Adventure.
If you like the concept of Medieval Times--yet prefer pirates and wenches over knights and ladies--Pirates Dinner Adventure is for you. The venue is right beside Medieval Times. However, once inside, the two seem centuries apart. With the Pirates Dinner Adventure, you'll be spending your evening in the 1700s.
The show here consists of sword fights, aerial tricks and a comedic, romantic storyline; it's set aboard a replica of an 18th century Spanish galleon ship. The audience sits aboard other ships located beside the stage. Children may even get the opportunity to participate in the show by dressing in costumes and rowing dinghies in a pirate race around the lagoon.
Dinner begins with an appetizer buffet; it moves onto the ship where you may choose chicken, beef, shrimp or vegetables. Parents can rest easy knowing that, in this dinner show, utensils are included.
