List of Recommended Hotels in Paris
Paris is the dream city for many people looking to vacation away from it all. Some of the finest hotels in the world can be found in Paris, but the price to take advantage of these deluxe accommodations is high. If you aren't exactly as rich as the Hilton girl who shares her name with the fabulous world capital, however, don't despair. Many wonderful hotels are still within range and many are no more expensive than you would find in New York or Los Angeles.

Hotel Beaumarchais

This is a relatively new kid on the Paris block, but was put together by world travelers for world travelers. The scenic design is colorful and upbeat and attention is made to keep guests comfortable as the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV and Wi-Fi. A great way to start a summer day is by eating breakfast in the outdoor garden patio. Nearby attractions include the infamous Bastille prison and the Cirque d'Hiver, both of which can be gotten to with a pleasant walk.

Hotel des Deux-Iles

Situate yourself on an island paradise at the Hotel des Deux-Iles in this hotel. The rooms are perhaps smaller than expected, but brightly decorated. A quiet and dignified old world ambiance pervades this hotel from the beautiful atrium garden to downstairs reading room stuffed with books and big sofas in which to pass the time reading. The top floor rooms provide an excellent view of the best of Paris and there is a private club that is a terrific place to while away the evening.

Hotel de la Bretonnerie

Located in the Marais district of the 4th arrondissement, this hotel is located in a 17th century townhouse. What sets this hotel apart is that each room is decorated with its own distinctive signature, including accessories and color matching. Be aware that walking the hallways may give you the feeling you've entered the Overlook Hotel from Stephen King's The Shining as you meander through, but there is even a certain charm in the construction of this labyrinth. The hotel offers up 29 rooms of which 7 are suites and all come with satellite television and a minibar. A handful of rooms are constructed in duplex style and all are very inviting and comfortable. You will likely find several other guests who speak English here as well as this is a popular hotel for Americans.
