Bolongo Bay Beach Resort is located in the U.S. Virgin Islands on St. Thomas. The resort sits along 1000 feet of white sand beach, with 75 rooms and condominiums, all with ocean views. The resort has two freshwater swimming pools, a tennis court and two restaurants. Included in the price for this resort are all snorkeling equipment rentals, a free in-pool scuba lesson, the use of sailboats, windsurfing equipment and kayaks. Majahuitas Resort

If you like the idea of a resort where you can almost completely get away from civilization, consider Majahuitas Resort, located on a cove in the Bay of Banderas just a 15 minute boat ride from Puerto Vallarta. The resort consists of eight casitas equipped with a library and a hammock and designed to give an open air feel. There is no electricity at the resort. Everything is solar powered, so that dinner is held by candlelight. Activities included in the price at the resort are all kayak and snorkeling gear rental. For an extra price you can also go on some of their tours such as their zip line canopy tour or scuba diving tours.
