Dunes Golf and Beach Club
This is the granddaddy of Myrtle Beach's golfing community, designed in 1948 by the legendary Robert Trent Jones. The Seniors Tour Championship used to hold a stop here and the course has regularly been named one of the best 100 golf courses in the country. The famously difficult 13th hole earned the nickname Waterloo for good reason and the beach view that you see when you reach the 9th hold is unforgettable.

Long Bay Club
This course was designed by the Golden Bear Jack Nicklaus and is a lot more difficult than it looks. In fact, this course is considered one of the more challenging courses in Myrtle Beach so gear up for the expansive bunker system that Jack built. The signature hole of this course is the 10th and when you first witness those rolling hills and fairway-length sand hazards you'll think Nicklaus was just being sadistic.

The Witch
You may think you should have packed your backpack and some hiking boots instead of clubs and cleats when you play the Witch. Take a trip to the swamplands of Myrtle Beach and take a leisurely stroll through woods darkened like something from a fairy tale as the sound of animals that you never hear on most golf courses pull you up short. Yes, playing the Witch is more than a just another round of golf. Sure, you may have seen an alligator soaking in a lagoon on a course here or there, but you may come across half a dozen gators from the 1st to 18th hold at the Witch. This is the course for those who want to get away from country club elite and push the boundaries of golfing on the go as you trek from the wilderness to civilization and then back to the swamp again.
