Savannah South KOA
The Savannah South KOA campground has electrical sites and primitive or tent camping available, but the campground also rents cabins. A 35-acre lake is located on the property, with swimming, fishing and boating all available. If you're interested in bird watching, there are several different species in the area and you're conveniently located near major golf courses on Hilton Head.

Skidaway Island State Park
There are over 80 different campsites available at this state park, which covers nearly 600 acres of land. A birding trail, biking trails and two nature trails run through the property. You have access to a one-mile, handicap accessible trail and a longer three-mile trail. The park also has its own swimming pool and is conveniently located near Tybee Island, where there are multiple beaches.

Fort McAllister State Park
The Fort McAllister State Park covers over 1,700 acres of land and has several different types of camping available: tent, RV and backcountry. There are over 4 miles of hiking trails in the park and a fishing pier with saltwater fishing. You also have access to biking trails, a trail for bird watching and boat ramps if you bring your boat and want to take it out into the water.

Rivers End Campground & RV Park
The Rivers End Campground & RV Park has multiple campsites available such as primitive spots, electrical hookups and spots for RVs, with weekly and monthly discounts if you plan on staying for a longer period of time. The campground is the only one on Tybee Island with wireless Internet and laundry facilities. For outdoor enthusiasts there is swimming and rock sites with various rocks and crystals. There are also different hiking tours offered throughout the year.
