Sightseeing Bus Tours for Lake Tahoe, Nevada

Sightseeing Bus Tours for Lake Tahoe, Nevada
Lake Tahoe is a natural beauty with hiking trails and water activities in the summer and wintertime ski and snowboard slopes. There are hotels and campgrounds in every major town along Lake Tahoe, but to get the feel for the area's charm you need to get out of the cities and into the country. While there is only one proper bus tour that takes visitors on a sightseeing trip alongside the lake, there are charming trolleys that travel North and South Lake Tahoe for a real local's trip.

Demo Tours

Demo Tours offers a range of popular tours in Northern California including a drive around Lake Tahoe, appropriately named the Around the Lake Tour, and departing from South Lake Tahoe. Demo Tours feature local guides who discuss the history, geography and native wildlife of the Tahoe region while taking you on a scenic drive around the lake. All Demo Tours stop at the Boat Works Mall for lunch and shopping. The Around the Lake Tour is a seven-hour excursion, with stops for photography in Emerald Bay, Rubicon Point, Squaw Valley and Sand Harbor.
