King Nummy Trail Campground
King Nummy Trail Campground offers fishing, swimming and boating along the Atlantic coast. Guests enjoy access to two swimming pools in case the Atlantic Ocean proves too choppy or cold for swimming. The campground's one-bedroom cabins come equipped with air conditioning, charcoal grills and bunk beds to accommodate guests of all ages. Every guest can view the Jersey Shore's native birds, plants and animals by walking in the surrounding wildlife refuge. King Nummy features two bathhouses for showering and dressing ahead of excursions to the Wildwood boardwalk, and to clean up, de-sand and wind down when returning from there.

Cape May Point State Park
Cape May Point State Park features three hiking trails including the half-mile Red Trail, the 1.5-mile Yellow Trail and the two-mile Blue Trail. These trails cut through the 153-acre Natural Area where walkers find dunes, marshes and forested areas with plenty of native animals. Anglers at Cape May Point State Park find striped bass, flounder and bluefish when casting their lines into nearby waters. The park hosts hawk-banding demonstrations each Saturday and Sunday to show how state parks officials track hawks during migration.

Starlight Fleet
Starlight Fleet in Wildwood offers fishing and dolphin-watching trips from spring through early fall. The company offers a pair of four-hour fishing trips aboard the 130-passenger Starlight from May through September. The company's full-day striper fishing trips take place aboard the 150-passenger Twilight from October to early December. Travelers interested in fishing, boating and enjoying Sunset Lake can head to Lakeview Docks. Thrill seekers rent the company's Yamaha XL 700 wave runners and crank up the engines in the open water. Lakeview Docks offers a six-horsepower fishing boat with a cutting board, knife and space for five passengers. The 40-horsepower Sundance Skiff allows anglers to hit Sunset Lake at high speeds before settling for an afternoon of fishing.
