Candeli, Italy is a beautiful hillside town off the Arno River. It's located just outside of Florence and has many stunning villas that have been turned into hostels and bed and breakfast hotels. The view of Florence from Candeli is breath taking and many tourists prefer to stay in the charming hillside rentals in Candelli versus the sometimes cramped quarters within Florence.

Camping Michelangelo

You cannot beat this hostel anywhere in Europe. Up on a hill in a former villa owned by royalty in Italy. It's off Ponte Vecchio and you can walk to Florence and the Uffizzi Museum in less than fifteen minutes away. It's a steal for under 10 Euros a night. the Medicis wish they had this view of Florence and the Arno.

Ostello Archi Rossi

The Archi Rossi Hostel must be mentioned although it's halfway down the hill from Candeli and almost in Florence, Candeli's twin city. It has a stunning open air terrace and free WiFi where you can relax your nights away looking down at Florence for 21 Euros a night.

Luna Rossa

It would be a disservice to leave out the Luna Rossa Hotel as a place to stay when traveling to Candeli Florence. Marco, the owner of Luna Rossa might as well be the mayor of Tuscany. He's able to get reservations anywhere and knows everything a tourist should do to know the heart of Tuscany. And for just over 30 Euros for a private room, this is hostel prices for ultimate luxury.
