White water rafting excursions offer eight miles of paddling through the Truckee River over the course of three hours. Rafters pass through Bronco Canyon, "The Jaws" area, and Pin Ball Rapids. This whitewater rafting trip includes a deli lunch and soft drinks. Children age 6 and older are permitted to attend this Lake Tahoe sightseeing tour. Boats accommodate six passengers and run from June through August.

The Emerald Bay sightseeing cruise winds along the glacier edge of the ay, and past the Eagle Falls and Vikings Hold Castle area. The boat stops at Fannett Harbor next to the Lake Tahoe granite walls section. Passengers cruise to Rubicon Pont and near a 1,000-foot drop off, and past the tallest lighthouse in the country. The boat captain serves as a guide to the natural wonders of Lake Tahoe, offering details of the native plants, flowers and wildlife. The duration of the cruise is two hours. The Lake Tahoe Tour Company also offers helicopter and bus tours around the lake throughout the year.
