The swimming areas are a prime attraction at Little America Hotel. Families enjoy the indoor pool, the pool designation for children and the large outdoor pool in a garden area. For other kinds of fun, the hotel offers free transportation to the Gateway, located about five minutes away. Kids go wild at this mall; it includes a planetarium, children's museum and restaurants.

At the Grand America Hotel, you can introduce your children to the fine things in life---starting with the delicious food. During afternoon tea, youngsters can indulge in pastries, cakes and sandwiches. At Sunday brunch, the kids and adults will enjoy fresh omelets, meats, seafood, breads and pastries.

Hotel Monaco

The Hotel Monaco rolls out the welcome mat for kids and their parents. When they check in, children receive a KimptonKids welcome gift and an animal print robe to wear during their stay. (You can also buy the robes.) Parents receive a list of parks, restaurants and other places in the area that cater to children.

Parents can request a crib or play yard for their room, plus a safety kit with night light, toilet latch and covers for the electrical outlets. High chairs and booster seats are also available.

The Monaco welcomes pets. If you don't have yours along, you can borrow one. Through the hotel's Guppy Love program, your child can adopt and name a goldfish to keep in your room.
