Navy Pier
Navy Pier offers both entertainment and dining options. Built in 1916 as a place to transport freighters, Navy Pier has evolved into a recreation and cultural center for Chicago. The most-visited attraction in the city, Navy Pier has a miniature golf course, cliff climbing walls, Shakespeare Theater, a kid's museum, multiple restaurants, IMAX theater, a Stained Glass museum, and much more. Performance stages are also on the Pier, and in the summer multiple bands and acts perform, mostly for free.
Magnificent Mile
The Magnificent Mile is located along Michigan Avenue between the Chicago River and Oak Street and includes countless designer stores such as Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Gap and Tiffany's. Other low-end stores such as H&M, Macy's and Bloomingdale's line the street, too.
Field Museum
Located near Soldier Field, Adler Planetarium and the Shedd Aquarium (the Museum Campus), the Field Museum is a must-see for museum lovers. The museum has presented various exhibits including those on fossils, gems, Native Americans and African culture.

Shedd Aquarium
Near countless other Chicago-area attractions, the Shedd Aquarium offers a view of nearly 700 different water species. The largest indoor aquarium worldwide, the Shedd also provides a look at nearly 60 different types of animals including angelfish, stingrays and sea turtles.

Millennium Park
Located next to Grant Park between Randolph and Monroe streets, Millennium Park houses a breathtaking garden along with other artistic exhibits. In the summer, a free-standing wall that sprays water around is a refreshing treat for visitors.
