Blue Bluff Campground
Located in Columbus, the Blue Bluff Campground has 92 multipurpose campsites. Campsites are equipped with picnic areas, fire rings and grills. There are restrooms with showers, and the roads are paved. Activities include a beach for swimming, boating and fishing. There are also volleyball and tennis courts. In addition to biking and hiking trails, Blue Bluff offers guided interpretive walks. Camping is limited to just 14 days during any 30 day consecutive period. However, you may apply for an extension at the ranger station.

Wallace Creek Campground
Located near Enid Lake, Wallace Creek is a smallish camping site with 16 tent-only sites and 99 multipurpose sites. Each site comes with a picnic table, fire ring and grill. Restrooms have showers, and the roads are paved. At the lake, you can swim, launch boats, fish and water ski. Recreation includes hiking and motorcycle trails. The site has a playground and a basketball court for team play.

Davis Bayou Campground
Located in Ocean Springs, this is a great destination for campers who like to be close to the water. The park features 52 multipurpose sites, each with a picnic table and grill. Restrooms include showers. While water activities are plentiful, swimming is prohibited due to the population of alligators. Don't let the gators stop you from boating, kayaking and fishing, however. Other outdoor recreation includes trails for hiking and biking. A bonus is that New Orleans is just a little over an hour away.

Piney Grove Campground
Located in Dennis, Piney Grove Campground features 141 multipurpose sites with picnic tables, fire rings, lantern poles and grills. The campsites are some of the loveliest in the state, each shrouded in the shade talls pines and Mississippi hardwoods. Activities include courts that can be used for volleyball, badminton and tennis, fishing, swimming and trails for hiking and biking. The bonus here is that you can take a break to hit nearby Tupelo and visit the birthplace of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley.
