Hotel 81 is a chain of value hotels with more than 20 locations throughout Singapore. The hotel chain was designed to accommodate the needs of seasoned travelers who spend most of their time away from the hotel sightseeing or conducting business, and require few amenities in their accommodations. Newer locations have diversified to offer increased amenities, providing a variety of choices for travelers.

Hotel 81 Bencoolen

Located in Singapore's Central Business District, Hotel 81 Bencoolen is 20 minutes away from Singapore's largest nature reserve, the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. The Reserve houses the Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari, the world's first nocturnal zoo. Also located in the Central Catchment area is MacRitchie Reservoir, home to the HSBC TreeTop Walk, a 250-meter suspension bridge connecting the two highest points in the reservoir. The entrance to the bridge is approximately a two-hour walk via the MacRitchie Nature Trail, or 45 minutes from the Venus Drive carpark. Allow yourself three to five hours for the round-trip hike.

Hotel 81 Joo Chiat

Housed in a charming pre-World War II building, Hotel 81 Joo Chiat is within walking distance of the Geylang Serai Malay Village, which offers popular daily cultural shows in addition to traditional Malay artifacts and cuisine. The Joo Chiat region of eastern Singapore is 15 minutes from East Coast Park, one of Singapore's most popular attractions. East Coast Park offers a multitude of outdoor activities such as cycling, water skiing, windsurfing and canoeing, as well as the family-friendly playground at Big Splash.

Hotel 81 Chinatown

Singapore's Chinatown is home to many street-side cafes offering traditional Chinese cuisine, in addition to the famous Orchard Road shopping belt. Hotel 81 Chinatown is a four-story conserved building nestled amongst the region's old-world architecture. Nearby is the Marina Bay area, home to several eco-friendly attractions such as the Sustainable Singapore Gallery, an interactive multi-media experience explaining Singapore's efforts to meet the needs of a growing community in an environmentally friendly manner. The Marina Bay area is also a popular destination for dining and water sports.

Hotel 81 Princess

Located in the vibrant Geylang district, Hotel 81 Princess is ideally located for dining, entertainment, shopping and nightlight. It is also close to Clifford Pier, making it an convenient gateway for trips to Singapore's southern islands. Palua Hantu is a popular destination for snorkeling, scuba diving or sightseeing. From here, you can spot coral reefs or walk to neighboring inlets during low tide. To experience a Singapore experience that is slower paced than the mainland, visit Palua Seking, where villagers live in a rural settlement of traditional stilt houses. At Palua Seking, you can also dive, snorkel, or purchase shell necklaces and other traditional wares.
