Best Shoes for Canyon Hiking
Canyon hiking is a whole different adventure than setting off on a dirt path. In order to ensure a safe and injury-free hike through dangerous terrain, hikers should wear proper footwear. Secure laces, a sturdy sole, and high tops will ensure that ankles remain untwisted and knees stay unskinned. Here are some great options for everyone in the family.

Oboz Sawtooth

If money is an issue, Backpacker magazine has found a number of boots under $100 that are worthy of even the most rugged terrain. One option is the Oboz Sawtooth boot. They are also available in both men's and women's sizes. Available at backcountry.com for approximately $120 in 2009.
