List of Airlines Flying to Canada
Thinking about exploring the Canadian Rockies or the cities of Vancouver or Montreal? Canada's dramatic scenery and cosmopolitan cities are only a short flight away from the U.S. Most major airlines service cities throughout Canada, making this an easy place to travel to.

Air Canada

Air Canada is Canada's national airline and services over 96 destinations. It offers flights between Canada and the U.S., as well as all over the world. As of August 2009, the majority of planes include personal touch TV screens, free two-baggage allowance, and complimentary nonalcoholic beverages. They offer three levels of economy class tickets (Tango, Tango Plus, Latitude) and two types of executive class (Executive Lowest and Executive Flexible). In addition, Air Canada is part of the Star Alliance, which partners with United and U.S. Airways.

United Airlines

United is one of the leading U.S. airlines and services over 73 domestic destinations and 41 international destinations. They have hubs in the following airports: Denver International, San Francisco International, Los Angeles International, Chicago O'Hare International and Washington Dulles International. They offer many direct flights to Canada, and connections are often made through their Star Alliance partner, Air Canada. As of August 2009, in-flight movies are typically offered but personal TV screens are not customary. Customers pay for checked baggage. Ear phones and nonalcoholic beverages are free.

WestJet

Canada's low-cost airline operates flights throughout Canada and offers limited service between the U.S. and Canada, Canada and Mexico and Canada and the Caribbean. WestJet is based in Calgary, Alberta, where many of their flights originate. They fly from San Deigo and San Francisco, California; Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Tampa and Orlando, Florida; Phoneix; Hawaii; Las Vegas; and New York. As of August 2009, most of their Boeing 737 jets have personal TV screens offering 24 channels of TV and movies. Customers are allowed two check two pieces of baggage free and receive complimentary nonalcoholic beverages.

A couple of helpful tips:
As of 2009, the low-cost airlines Southwest and Jetblue DO NOT fly to Canada.
