The nearest lodging to Grand Teton National Park is actually found within the park's boundaries. The Grand Teton Lodge Company manages three different lodging facilities: Jackson Lake Lodge, Jenny Lake Lodge and Colter Bay Village. Other nearby lodging options include Flagg Ranch Resort, Dornan's Spur Ranch Cabins, Signal Mountain Lodge and Triangle X Ranch. Each of these facilities cater to outdoor enthusiasts, and hotel staff are ready and willing to help you plan excursions including kayaking, float trips, fishing and horseback riding, among other activities.

Jackson Lake Lodge

Jackson Lake Lodge features 385 rooms ranging from in-lodge suites to simple cottage accommodations. Room views range from obstructed forest views to outstanding views of the Teton mountain range. Cottage and lodge room rates in 2009 range from $219 for a non-view room to $750 for a suite. Dining options at the Jackson Lake Lodge include fine dining at the Mural Room, casual dining at the Pioneer Grill and Blue Heron Lounge. Open mid-May to early October.

Jenny Lake Lodge

Accommodations at Jenny Lake Lodge include single-room cabins, duplex cabins and individual log-cabin suites. Room rates in 2009 range from $585 for a single or duplex cabin to $825 for a log-cabin suite. Dining at Jenny Lake Lodge is available at the lodge's Dining Room, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations are required for dinner, and jackets are encouraged for men. Open late May to early October.

Colter Bay Village

Lodging options at Colter Bay Village include semi-private cabins with shared bathroom, private one-room cabins and private two-room cabins. Room rates in 2009 range from $55 for a semi-private cabin to $199 for a private two-room cabin. Colter Bay Village also offers rustic tent cabin accommodations ($48), an RV park ($54/peak, $40/late season), and campgrounds ($19/with vehicle, $7/bicycle or hiker). Open mid-May to late September.

Flagg Ranch Resort

Accommodations at the Flagg Ranch Resort feature log cabin rooms with either a two queen beds or one king bed. 2009 rates range from $179 to $189 per night. The lodge features a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner; a gas station; and a grocery store. Also located at the resort are RV sites ($50) and tent camping sites ($25). The resort is open between late May and late September.

Dornan's Spur Ranch Cabins

Dornan's features one-bedroom and two-bedroom log cabin accommodations. 2009 rates start at $175 for a one-bedroom cabin and $250 for a two-bedroom cabin. Amenities at Dornan's include restaurants such as Moose Chuckwagon and Pizza Pasta Company, a wine shop and a grocery store. Dornan's is open year-round.

Signal Mountain Lodge

Signal Mountain Lodge features one-room rustic log cabins, two-room rustic cabins, country rooms, deluxe country rooms, one-room bungalows, two-room lakefront retreat suites, and one three-room cabin. Rates in 2009 range from $131 for a one-room rustic log cabin with double bed to $299.50 for the three-room cabin. Signal Mountain Lodge is open from early May to mid-October.

Triangle X Ranch

The Triangle X Ranch is a working dude ranch. Lodging options at the ranch include one-, two-, or three-bedroom cabins. Rates in 2009 start at $1,575 during the summer season and are based on a Sunday-to-Sunday stay. Winter rates are $125 per person per night. Summer activities at the ranch include horseback riding, hiking, fishing and float trips. Winter activities include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. The ranch is open from mid-May to late October for the summer season and from late December to mid-March for the winter season.
