Things to Do in Tunica, MS
The Tunica area of Mississippi is best known for its large number of casinos and gambling spots. The area in what is called the Mississipi Delta is third on the list of gambling destinations in the United States, behind Las Vegas and Atlantic City. If you're in the mood for something outdoors, there are still things to do in Tunica, although many are at casino-related facilities. You can try your hand at golf, tennis or clay pigeon shooting as well as fishing and hunting.

Tunica RiverPark and Museum

The Tunica RiverPark is a large, interactive museum located in Tunica. Most of the exhibits are dedicated to the history of Tunica as well as the state. You can learn more about how Tunica started and the way the town looked long before the casinos. Eco-tourism is a big part of the RiverPark and it offers a 1.9 mile hiking trail that takes you through the wetlands. The EcoTrail also gives you the chance to see native wildlife and explore hard to reach areas of the wetlands.
