Golf for Kids
Each November in Orlando, Florida, Walt Disney World hosts a golf tournament for the Children's Miracle Network. Since 1971, professional and amateur golfers have shared the links to benefit the Arnold Palmer Hospital and the Shand's Children's Hospital at the University of Florida. Whether you choose to watch or participate, the fresh air and Florida sunshine make for a pleasant fundraiser for children in need.

Airboat Rides
It stays around 80 degrees in Orlando in November, and hurricane season has generally passed, so it's a fine time to go out on an airboat with Captain Jim. You may see bobcats, bald eagles, coyotes, alligators, wild hogs, wild deer, marsh cows, otters and other creatures. Airboats can travel through swampy areas that other boats can't access because an airboat doesn't have moving engine parts underwater, so there's nothing to get trapped in the grasses. Captain Jim offers fishing excursions, too.
