Myrtle Beach Chinese Restaurants

Myrtle Beach Chinese Restaurants
Chinese food is a great choice if you're in training or on a diet because the cuisine lets you pick and choose. You can opt for a small amount of meat and fill up the rest of your plate with rice and fresh vegetables. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has a lot of these restaurants, many of which serve authentic Chinese cuisine.

China Dragon

Located in a small strip mall, China Dragon does both takeout and eat-in service, with delivery in the immediate area also available. All foods are prepared without MSG and meals are served fairly quickly after you order, even if the restaurant is crowded. The combination platters are a good choice because they come with several dishes and an egg roll and are enough for two meals.

Wok on the Dock

Wok on the Dock is a small Chinese buffet where your only problem will be not eating everything in sight. The buffet offerings change frequently, but some dishes including fried rice and beef with broccoli are always served. Prices are fairly reasonable, and the restaurant has a less expensive lunch buffet. The pork fried rice and egg rolls are favorites of locals.

New China

The New China restaurant has a buffet that features more than 120 items served every day. Food on the buffets is replaced frequently, and the restaurant uses fresh seafood caught in the area in some dishes. As of 2009 you can get a full lunch with authentic Chinese tea for less than $6. The buffet also features a Mongolian grill with traditional Mongolian fare prepared while you watch.

E Noodles

Unlike the other restaurants, E Noodle is a more upscale, sit-down restaurant serving traditional Chinese fare. Some of the dishes have a twist on them, such as tempura mussels served with a black bean salsa. The restaurant also has a wide range of hot soups and noodle dishes. In addition to Chinese, the restaurant also serves Thai and Vietnamese dishes.
