The Jefferson Hotel

Located in the heart historic downtown Richmond, the Jefferson Hotel is only blocks from the state capital building and historic Shockoe Slip. Opened in 1895, this remarkable hotel has survived from some very turbulent times, but is continually visited by distinguished guests, including Sir Edmund Hillary one of the first climbers to summit Mount Everest.
