Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Great Smoky Mountains National Park is America's most visited National Park, according to the National Park Service. The park offers over 800 miles of maintained trails for hiking on everything from easy to difficult terrain. Watch for wildlife as there are over 1,500 bears here. If you want to stay overnight in the park, try the LeConte Lodge (the only overnight lodging inside the park). It is accessible only by foot and is located at the top of Mount LeConte at an elevation of 6,593 ft. The lodge is open from March to November.

Wildwater Ltd's Pigeon Rafting Center
Wildwater Ltd. Rafting Pigeon River offers river tours on class III and class IV whitewater rapids. The river is dam-controlled, and release days are the best for rafting. The upper Pigeon is best for faster water; the lower Pigeon has many more placid spots that are ideal for families. Tours are available through the Rafting Center and can accommodate rafters of all ages and abilities.

Imported from New Zealand, globe riding is one of the most interesting ways to get to the bottom of the hill that you can find. Choose your ride (wet or dry), climb into a giant inflatable globe and roll down the hill. A great activity for a rainy day, ZORB is open rain or shine.
