United Airlines
Pets can fly the friendly skies stress free with their companions in the cabin. The pet must be healthy, at least 8 weeks old, and acclimated to their kennel. Give advance notice to the airline and be sure your pet fits comfortably in its kennel before arriving at the gate.
Southwest
This airline allows small dogs and cats that are vaccinated. There is a one-way fee charged for each pet. The pet must be stored in an approved pet kennel that is toted under the seat in front of the customer. The pet must remain in its kennel at all times during the flight.
Delta Airlines
Delta allows household birds, dogs and cats to fly in the cabin via the Delta Pet First service. You are limited to one pet that fits comfortably under the seat in front of you. Monkeys, reptiles, mice and frogs are not permitted in the cabin.
Pet Airways
Pet Airways is a special airline that offers special in-cabin flights and your pet is never stored as cargo. Fares are offered at the cost of a normal human ticket price but vary depending on availability and what city you fly to and from.
Airlines for Service Animals
The Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA) permits seeing-eye dogs and service animals to be allowed in the cabin with their owners. In agreement with FAA regulations, the animal must not obstruct the aisle or interfere with other passengers. Allow extra time to board the plane with your dog and give advance notice to the airline.
