Snooze
Every runner, hiker, biker or skier knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The owners of Snooze were well aware of this. As such, they decided to open a restaurant that specialized in unique breakfast entrees. The owners describe their restaurant decor as a mixture of Jetsons and Happy Days. Snooze serves all-day breakfast, as well as a variety of lunch selections. Breakfast options include carrot cake pancakes, Colorado peach pancakes and a surf and turf egg dish; the latter combines shrimp, tenderloin, eggs and cheddar cheese hollandaise.

Buckhorn Exchange
While most people associate Colorado with skiing, snowboarding and hiking, in the 1800s, Denver was a well-known mining town. In addition to the miners, railroad builders and cattlemen populated the area. William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody is the most famous cattleman of the era. Henry Zietz, a member of Buffalo Bill's scout band, opened the Buckhorn Exchange on November 17, 1893. The restaurant gets its name from the Buckhorn Lodge, which housed the workers on the Rio Grande Railroad. Today, the Buckhorn is one of Denver's most popular steak houses, which features live cowboy music on Thursday through Saturday.
