Whytecliff Park
SCUBA diving may not seem like a typical Canadian recreational activity, but Whytecliff Park tells a different story. The water may be cold, but the sights are worth it. The park is built around a small cove that keeps the water gentle. Some of the sights include crabs, rock formations and seals.

Walk The Lions
The Lions is one of the most popular trails in Vancouver. While not the easiest hike in the area, the climax is rewarding. The hike takes approximately four hours, with a several thousand foot ascent. At the summit you'll find an extraordinary view that takes in both Howe Sound to one side and downtown Vancouver to the other.
Capilano Salmon Hatchery
A working fish hatchery, the Capilano is administered by the government in order to maintain salmon populations. Although a practical facility, visiting the Capilano can be a fascinating experience. From the hatchery to the fish ladders, visitors can expect to see a wonderful variety of life and plenty of information. The best times to visit are from August to November.
