Captain Mack's River Resort
Camp Mack's River Resort is an all-inclusive vacation spot mainly devoted to fishing at local lakes and rivers. This park is out in the woods around secluded lakes and is nearly 20 miles to the nearest town. The park is on the Kissimmee River between Lakes Kissimmee and Hatchineha. There is bass fishing here all year long and tournaments in the fall.
Captain Mack's has 200 sites. None of them are pull-through but nearly all of them are on the water. Full hookups with water, sewer and electric are available and some have 50-amp service.
The resort has Cable TV and WiFi as part of your rental fee. Bathrooms, showers and laundry are available. There's also a small store with RV supplies and a few groceries. A recreation area is available and there are planned activities.
Canoes, motor boats and pontoon boats can be rented or you can book your fishing trip with guides at the campground. The Liars Haul bait and tackle shop is a local landmark.

Lake Kissimmee State Park
Lake Kissimmee State Park makes much of the Florida Cowboy Heritage. Florida participated in cattle drives just as in the Old West. On weekends there are living history demonstrations of 1875-era cow camps, and there are occasional small mock cattle drives.
This park contains 13 miles of trails around three lakes: Tiger Lake, Rosalie Lake and Kissimmee Lake. The local Friends of the Park organization has a Trek 10 program that encourages--and rewards--hikers for hiking.
This park has 60 campsites that may be used by RVs or tent campers. Water and electric hookups are available for either. There are primitive camping areas around the lakes and a group camping area available by reservation. Showers and restrooms are available and there's a small campground store.
The lakes are connected by narrow waterways, which make for scenic canoe rides. There are no canoe rentals at the park, but they are available from area outfitters. The park has hiking trails and horseback riding trials.

Harbor RV Resort & Marina
Harbor RV Resort & Marina is just as the name implies, a combination campground, marina and lake all rolled into one resort. The campground is on Lake Rosalie and is part of the chain of lakes connected to Lake Kissimmee. The area is known for bass fishing and there are tournaments throughout the year.
This park has more than 100 sites with full hookups and some 50-amp hookups. The campsites are shaded by live oak trees covered with Spanish moss. There are spectacular views of the lake as well. Restrooms, showers and laundry are available, as well as cable TV and WiFi. Seasonal, monthly and daily rates are offered.
Park owners provide many activities in addition to fishing and boating. Canoes are available to navigate the lakes and streams. Card games, bingo and horseshoes are a few of the activities here. Potluck dinners are held regularly.
