RV Camping Near Colfax, Indiana
Colfax is a small farming town a mile off Interstate 65 in central Indiana. Although visitors will not find any RV campgrounds in town, there are several in the surrounding communities. Area attractions include smallmouth bass fishing in Sugar Creek, Hiking in Prophetstown State Park and the Deer Track Golf Club.

Old Mill Run Park

Old Mill Run Park is a family campground on 65 acres in Thorntown, located 4 miles south of Colfax. It offers seasonal and nightly full hook-up RV sites that include 30/50-amp electrical service, wireless Internet access and a gravel pad, as well as a fire ring and picnic table.



Facility amenities include a camp store, guest laundry and a recreational hall along with a modern bathhouse with private showers. Recreational amenities include an outdoor swimming pool with sundeck, a miniature golf course and game room. Two small lakes are located within the campground where guests can swim or fish, and a hiking trail runs around the lakes and the wooded area surrounding the campground.

Crawfordsville KOA

Crawfordsville KOA is located 16 miles southwest of Colfax in Crawfordsville and less than a mile off I-74. It offers full hook-up RV sites with 30/50-amp electrical service, cable TV and wireless Internet access along with a picnic table and fire ring.



Facility amenities feature a gift shop, camp store and banquet room with full kitchen, as well as modern restrooms and private showers. Recreational amenities include an outdoor swimming pool with a patio seating area, game room and children's playground. The Crawfordsville community walking and bike trail is less than 1 mile from the campground.

Sugar Creek Campground

Sugar Creek Campground is on Sugar Creek, about 17 miles southwest of Colfax. It offers full hook-up RV sites that include 30/50-amp electrical service, gravel or grass pad and a picnic table. Facility amenities include a concession stand, clubhouse and dump station as well as modern restrooms and private showers.



The campground has over 1/2 mile frontage on Sugar Creek, where guests can swim, fish for smallmouth bass or canoe. Recreational amenities include a playground, fishing ponds and basketball court. A hiking trail starts at the campground and runs along the river and through a wooded area east of the campground.
