Lake Somerville State Park
Lake Somerville State Park is split into two areas: Birch Creek in Somerville and Nails Creek in Ledbetter. The Birch Creek area is located on the northern shore of the lake and Nails Creek is across the water on the south shore. Both campgrounds have a variety of campsite types including primitive sites, walk-in sites, sites with water and electricity, equestrian sites and a group trailer area designed for RV clubs and other similar groups. The facilities have indoor showers and restrooms. Fishing is a popular activity at the park where you are welcome to use an on-site fish cleaning shelter, fishing pond and lake access. The 13-mile Lake Somerville Trailway connects the two park areas, providing hiking, biking and equestrian terrain for active campers.
