Vineyards Campground & Cabins
The Vineyards Campground and Cabins is an RV resort on Lake Grapevine and in the city of Grapevine as well. This park is nestled around a cove of the lake and many campsites are on the water.
There are 88 campsites at the Vineyards and all of them have full hookups. There are furnished cabins as well, and some tent camping sites. Vineyards has 15 pull through sites and can handle big rigs.
This park has a boat dock, pier and swimming areas. Canoes and kayaks are available for rent and you can get fishing supplies at the campground. Volleyball, horseshoes and hiking the trails are just some of the things one can do here. Planned activities are held on weekends in the summer months.

Grapevine Lake
Grapevine Lake is a lake created by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a water supply for Dallas and Fort Worth. The corps operates a campground and recreational facility at the lake for public use.
The campground itself is relatively small, with 45 sites. Water and electricity are available. There are no 50-amp connections and smaller RVs are recommended. Sites have grills, fire rings and picnic tables. There are bathrooms but no showers.
The park has a ramp and dock for boats and a lake swimming area. Several hiking, biking and horseback trails wind around the lake.

Sandy Lake RV Park
Sandy Lake RV Park is in Carrollton, Texas and centrally located between the big city and the lakes north of Dallas. It is close to the Interstate, making many attractions convenient. The park is managed by Carefree Resorts, and there are year round residents, but there are daily and weekly sites available in the campground.
There are 217 sites at this campground and all have full hookups, and over half have 50-amp service available. The park has restrooms, showers and laundry. RV supplies are available.
This resort has a pool, recreation hall, planned activities, horseshoes and other games, and a public use pavilion.
