Shell Point, Florida, is located just along the shores of Iona Cove, an inlet of the Gulf of Mexico. RV campers who enjoy boating will find that Fort Myers, the city just south of Shell Point, is home to many sailing schools where outdoor enthusiasts can learn or hone their skills. Shell Point is situated between Iona Cove and Pine Island Sound where boating opportunities abound. RV campsites cater to the retired community that congregates to the area and offer many amenities to increase the comfort of their guests.

McGregor RV and Mobile Home Park

Located along County Road 867, McGregor RV and Mobile Home Park irents spaces by the month; each of the 30 sites come equipped with water, sewage and 50-amp electrical service. Guests have access to shower, restroom and laundry facilities.



Sanibel Causeway Beach, just west of the campground, provides a place walking and collecting seashells. Bunche Beach, one mile south of McGregor RV and Mobile Home Park, offers paddle-craft launches and two fishing piers .

Fort Myers Beach RV Resort

Fort Myers Beach RV Resort is home to 305 full hookup RV campsites, 216 of which are pull-throughs. Southeast of Shell Point, this resort offers either 30- or 50-amp electrical service, phone and cable television hook-ups and an on-site dump station. Campers can take advantage of amenities such as a laundry facility, swimming pool and quick access to nearby beaches. Guests can spend time outdoors at the onsite group picnic area and shuffleboard courts.

Owned by Sun RV Resorts, Siesta Bay RV Resort offers sites equipped with full hookups and wireless Internet access. Guests can indulge in onsite amenities such as two heated pools, two recreation centers, various sports courts and fishing lakes.
