RV Parks near Stayton, OR
Located only a dozen miles from Interstate 10 and the state capital of Salem, the small town of Stayton is situated in the famously green forests of Oregon. Stayton sits in the amid numerous small preserves, within 20 miles of the Williamette River and within 30 miles of Williamette National Forest. That makes the town a prime place to look for a campground, park the rig and start exploring the area's natural wonders.

Silver Falls State Park

Located 10 miles to the northeast of Stayton on Route 214, Silver Falls State Park offers RV campers a combination of both a place to park their rig and outdoor activities. The campground is organized into two loops, Loop A and B. Loop A is an all-RV camping area with 42 sites, a playground and the only shower house in the park. Loop B is a mixed tent- and RV-camping area set on Silver Fork Creek with 10 RV sites, and has flush toilets. All RV campsites come with electrical hookups. For on-site outdoor activities, Silver Falls State Park has fishing in the aforementioned creek and several hiking trails, two of which start from or pass through the campgrounds.

Silver Spur RV Park

Silver Spur RV Park is a 15-mile drive north of Stayton, and is a parking lot-style RV park. Campsites are set on an open lawn with little shade, and each site is equipped with full hookups (up to 50-amp electricity), including cable TV connections. The RV park also offers a bathhouse, laundry service, playground, game room, library and free Wi-Fi. For outdoor activities, Silver Spur's northerly location relative to Stayton places it about 10 miles from Silver Falls State Park and 20 miles east of Basket Slough National Wildlife Refuge, giving it access to plenty of hiking and nature watching.

Knox Butte RV Park

Knox Butte is situated 17 miles to the southwest of Stayton. That places it within three miles of the EE Wilson Game Management Area and eight miles from the Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge. The RV park is also less than 1/4 of a mile from the Willamette River, which flows right through Albany, Oregon. The park is therefore well-placed for nature watching and fishing. Knox Butte has 66 full hookup campsites (up to 50-amp electricity) with telephone and cable TV connections. Wi-Fi access is available on the campground, and the campground comes equipped with a bathhouse, coin laundry and covered picnic area.
