Leadville is located in Lake County, Colorado. The historic frontier town contains Victorian homes and work buildings from the mining era. Surrounded by mountain views and alpine lakes, Leadville provides guests with picturesque natural sights and features. The town is situated near the headwaters of the Arkansas River, offering a wide array of water recreation, and is home to Mount Massive Golf Course, the highest course in North America, according to the golf club.

Leadville RV Corral has 33 RV campsites with full service including water, sewer and 20-/30-/50-amp electric hookups. Campers can enjoy services such as cable TV, a modem connection, a dump station and RV storage. Five grassy sites are open for tent camping. Leadville RV Corral is also conveniently located within walking distance of in-town restaurants and local attractions. Turquoise Lake is an 1,800 acre reservoir located 15 minutes away, where boating, fishing and hiking are available.

Sugar Loafin' RV Campground

Sugar Loafin' RV Campground is surrounded by mountain views and valleys. RV sites with full hookups or partial hookups with water and 30-/50-amp electric service are available for daily or weekly rates. Drive-through sites have a maximum length of 100 feet, and back-in spaces have trees or an open meadow to the rear. Guests can also choose to camp in cabins or tent sites at Sugar Loafin'. Camp amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, showers and laundry facilities. Turquoise Lake, where anglers can fish for rainbow trout, is a mile from camp. Less than a mile away is Mount Massive Golf Course, where golfers can enjoy a 36-par, 9-hole course atop the mountain at an elevation of 9,680 feet.

Arkansas River Rim Campground and RV Park

Arkansas River Rim Campground is about half an hour away from Leadville and features a setting in the upper Arkansas River Valley. The park is adjacent to the Arkansas River, offering campers access to water recreation. The camp has RV sites with full hookups and tent sites with water service. RV sites are shaded and are equipped with 20-/30-/50-amp electric service, wireless Internet access, picnic areas, restrooms and laundry facilities. Guests have views of the Collegiate Peak Range and can go fishing or rafting on the 1,469-mile Arkansas River. Game fish species you may find are brown, rainbow and cutthroat trout.
