Clermont is in south Lake County, Florida, about 25 miles west of Orlando. Located on a chain of 16 lakes linked by the Palatlakaha River, the city offers water recreation to campers and visitors, including boating, fishing and swimming. Attractions include the 4,500-acre Lake Louisa State Park, where you can hike 16 miles of trails or launch a canoe at Dixie Lake.

Clerbrook Resort

Clerbrook Resort spans 287 acres and offers 1,250 campsites in Lake County. The campground consists of fishing ponds, canals, trees and an 18-hole golf course. The park offers RV sites and cabins. RV sites have full hookups with 30/50-amp service. Other camp amenities include recreation halls, three swimming pools, hot tubs, shower and laundry facilities and playgrounds. Campers can enjoy many activities right on site. Fishing from the stocked ponds, playing a round of golf, enjoying a game at the shuffleboard court, horsehoes pit and softball field make up just some of the recreation within the resort. Guests can also bicycle or walk along the resort's nature trails. The Lake Louisa State Park is nine miles. Dixie Lake is located inside the state park and has a canoe and kayak launch and a fishing pier.

Bee's RV Resort

Bee's RV Resort offers cabin units, tent and RV sites with full hookups and 30/50-amp service. Pull-through sites are also available. Other amenities include cable television, a swimming pool, wireless Internet connection, shower facilities, a laundry site and RV storage. Campers can enjoy a meal at the Honeypot Eatery, a full-service restaurant on-site. Activities include hiking at the resort's nature trails, shuffleboard, miniature golf, horseshoes and swimming. Anglers can also visit 13,788-acre Lake Harris, 10 miles from camp. The lake teems with fish species like largemouth bass, black crappie, bluegill, sunshine bass and redear sunfish.

Torchlite RV Park

This RV park is surrounded by oak trees and campsites with paved roads and concrete pads. Torchlite offers RV sites with full hookups and amenities like picnic tables, pull-through spaces, bathhouses, clubhouse and shuffleboard courts. Plenty of recreational opportunities are nearby, including golf, swimming, fishing and boating. Kings Ridge Golf Club is three miles away and Lake Louisa about 10 miles away from camp.
