Fireweed Lodge

This modern log lodge lies on the remote western shore of Prince of Wales Island, two miles west of the small fishing village of Klawock. It offers 18 modern lodge rooms with a queen bed, satellite TV and private balcony on select rooms. Six one-bedroom cabins are available with a private deck with water view. Lodge amenities include a common sitting area with fireplace, hot tub and fitness room. Fireweed Lodge offers fishing packages for rockfish, halibut, salmon and steelhead that include a guide, fishing equipment and bait along with cleaning, packaging and shipping of your catch. The lodge use 22-foot Olympic boats that include a sitting area and private restroom. Packages include two meals at the lodge and lunch on the boat.

Kodiak Island Resort

Kodiak Island Resort sits on the shores of Larsen Bay on Kodiak Island. The two-story log lodge has six spacious rooms that include two full-sized beds, satellite TV and views of the surrounding mountains. Guests receive three meals including local seafood and appetizers in the lower level oceanfront dining room. Daily fishing trips depart on aboard a 40-foot catamaran for salmon and halibut in the small bays and inlets of Kodiak Island. Fishing equipment, a professional guide and fish cleaning are included. Kodiak Island Resort offers a reception area with wet bar, recreation room and deck overlooking the bay.

Kenai Riverbend Resort

Kenai Riverbend Resort features a handcrafted two-story log lodge on the banks of the Kenai River is Soldotna. Accommodations include seven lodge rooms with rustic log furniture and river views. Nine riverfront one-bedroom spruce log cabins include a kitchen, sleeping loft and covered deck. You have a choice of daily fishing trips for freshwater salmon and steelhead in the Kenai River or saltwater fishing for halibut and salmon in the Cook Inlet. Fishing packages include equipment, bait and professional guide. The resort restaurant and lounge provides water views and is open from breakfast to dinner.
