RV Campgrounds in Casper, Wyoming

Casper, Wyoming is located in the east-central side of the state at the foot of Casper Mountain. The city is also situated along the North Platte River, offering campers plenty of water recreation. Casper East RV Park and Campground

Located on the east side of Casper, Casper East RV Park and Campground offers campsites for RVs and cabin units. The camp has sites with full hookups and 30/50-amp service. Amenities include seasonal swimming pool, high speed Internet, playground, cable TV, mini golf and laundry facilities. Campers can enjoy fishing, canoeing and swimming at the North Platte River in Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park, and the Speas Fish Hatchery just 14 miles away.

Fort Caspar Campground

Fort Caspar Campground is situated on the scenic North Platte River. The park accommodates both RVs and tents, with amenities like picnic areas, pavilion, fishing pond, game room, fitness area, lodge and nature trails. Campers can hike the river walk trail along the water or fish in the pond and river. Cast your fishing lines for species like rainbows, cutthroat and brown trout. Wildlife viewing is also available. Animals you may see include owls, fawns, deer and antelope.

Casper KOA Kampground

Casper KOA in Bar Nunn, five miles north of downtown Casper, offers tent sites, two cabin rentals and 66 RV sites with 50-amp service and cable TV. Camp amenities include swimming pool and spa, tennis courts, mini golf, laundry facilities and mail service. Visitors can rent bikes within the camp and tour the area.

The National Historic Trails Interpretive Center, where campers can participate in guided hikes and view multimedia presentations and interactive exhibits to learn about the area's history, is just a 10-minute drive from the KOA.
