Kissimmee, Florida is part of the greater Orlando metropolitan region of central Florida. Kissimmee enjoys the Kissimmee River and is within 45 minutes of the lake that shares its name, Lake Kissimmee. The river and lake are home to large and smallmouth bass, making it a popular destination for sport anglers. Choose to stay in a private cabin, a room in the lodge, or camp at Camp Mack's River Resort. Bass fishing is plentiful out from Camp Mack's with Lake Kissimmee, Lake Hatchineha, and the Kissimmee River. The resort has a mosquito-free fish cleaning house, bait and tackle shop, available fishing guides, boat rentals and charters, and boat launches and docks. Cabins house two to eight people, have kitchenettes, showers and private bathrooms. The lodge, known as the Liar's Motel, offers private rooms with showers and bathrooms, cable TV and coffee makers.

Silver Lake Resort

The Silver Lake Resort is in the Kissimmee Lake and River region, and offers a resort style setting with many amenities. The staff at the resort assist in finding or booking fishing guides, bass fishing if you like. The resort has ponds and small lakes where there is private fishing. One-, two- and three-bedroom units are available, by the night or weekly rentals. There are also time-share condos at the resort, should you wish to return year after year for bass fishing holidays. The resort is surrounded by 65 acres of wetlands, home to small and largemouth bass.

Middleton's Too Campground and Fishcamp offers bass fishing along the banks of Lake Kissimmee. There are options for RV camping in a resort style setting. The RV resort features swimming pools, showers, guest house, playgrounds, fish cleaning huts, boat launches, docks and landings and boat rentals or tours. Fishing guides are at the campground to assist with your bass catch, or to take you deep into some of the secret locations along the lake. There is a bait and tackle shop, as well as a fully-stocked general store with firewood and propane service at Middelton's Too.
