Baytown, Texas, is on the northern shore of Galveston Bay. The area is situated between San Jacinto River and Trinity River, providing Baytown visitors plenty of fishing opportunities. Numerous Baytown parks with free access to fishing piers and boat docks are available including Bayland Park, Bayland Waterfront, Roseland Park and San Jacinto Point.

Shady Oaks RV Park

Shady Oaks RV Park is set in a shaded and wooded campground with 71 sites. RV sites are equipped with full hookups, 50-amp service and wireless Internet connection. Pull-through sites and big-rig access are available. Other amenities include propane and mail service.



Although no activities are available within camp, many local attractions are conveniently located nearby. The 34,000-acre Anahuac Wildlife Refuge and Port of Houston are both within 22 miles away from camp. View an abundance of wildlife at the refuge including species such as waterfowl, alligators, muskrat, bobcat and more.



Fishing also is allowed for a variety of game fish. Bring your wade fishing gear and cast for species such as speckled trout, flounder and redfish.

Pine Lakes RV Resort

Just 30 minutes away from downtown Houston, Pine Lakes RV Resort offers RV campers easy access to many local attractions. The resort has full hookups with 20/30/50-amp service, concrete patios, cable TV and mail service.



Play horseshoes within camp, walk nature trails or fish in the stocked fishing pond. Local attractions nearby include Gulf Greyhound Park and Lone Star Flight Museum.
