Visitors to eastern Pennsylvania will find a pristine forested mountain landscape. There are a variety of camping options including RV parks and campgrounds that are close to the area's natural attractions including hiking in the Pocono Mountains, smallmouth bass fishing in the Susquehanna River or boating on Lake Wallenpaupack.

Starlite Camping Resort

Starlite Camping Resort is located in the furnace hills of southeastern Pennsylvania. It features partial and full hook-up RV sites, each with a picnic table and fire ring. Facility amenities include a camp store, banquet room with full kitchen and a coin-operated guest laundry, along with modern restrooms and private showers. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool with patio seating area, hot tub and game room as well as a miniature golf course, playground and sports field. Starlite Camping Resort has its own hiking trail called the Indian Fence Trail that runs along the outside of the resort with varying terrain.

Allentown KOA

Allentown KOA is a 40-acre campground located in a mountain valley in New Tripoli. It offers shaded partial and full hook-up campsites that include cable TV, wireless Internet and a gravel pad as well as a picnic table and fire ring. Allentown KOA clubhouse has a camp store, coin-operated laundry room and modern restrooms with private showers. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool with sundeck, miniature golf course and two playgrounds as well as a game room, basketball court and bicycle rentals. A small mountain stream runs along the border of the camp where guests can fish for trout. Hiking trails are accessible and traverse the undulating mountainous terrain surround the campground.

Foxwood Family Campground

Foxwood Family Campground is located in the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania. It offers rustic and full hook-up campsites that all have a picnic table and fire ring. It also offers rental cabins that include a porch, kitchenette and barbecue grill. Facility amenities include modern restrooms, bathhouse with private showers and a camp store along with a coin-operated laundry and recreation hall with full kitchen. Recreational amenities include a softball field, miniature golf course and game room along with a playground and outdoor swimming pool with patio seating area. There is a small fishing pond on-site as well as a wooded area that has hiking trails for guests.
