Needles KOA
Needles KOA is just across the state line in California and is a classic KOA campground. There are several campgrounds in Needles, and they are not crowded in summer, mostly because of the intense heat, but if other areas are full, this area might have space.
This KOA has 85 spaces, and most of them are pull-through sites. All of the sites have full hookups, but there is no cable TV, and there is a charge for Wi-Fi. There is a clubhouse with a fireplace and a wide-screen TV. There is a full kitchen, and campers sometimes have potluck meals. There are also tent sites and one- and two-room cabins.
Campground owners say their store sells award-winning salsa and red chile marmalade.
