Homer Ocean Charters
Homer Ocean Charters is located on the Homer Spit and has a fleet of seven boats. It offers full-day fishing combo charters for either halibut/lingcod or halibut/salmon. Guests can reserve a private charter with a six-person minimum. Charters include a professional guide, all tackle and bait, as well as fish cleaning and packing after returning to dock. Boats all offer a heated cabin with a sitting area and restroom. In addition, Homer Ocean Charters offers inland fishing trips, sightseeing cruises and a water taxi.

Alaska Excursion Adventures
Alaska Excursion Adventures offers halibut and salmon combo charters out of Homer. It is a small operation--the owner is the captain and guide of the 43-foot twin-diesel fishing vessel. Charters include all equipment, bait and fish cleaning, with packaging available at the dock for a small fee. The boat contains a sitting area, a bathroom and bunks for guests to use. Alaska Excursion Adventures also offers a bed and breakfast for guests, with transportation to and from the boat and a hot breakfast.

Big Bear Halibut Charters
Big Bear Halibut Charters is located at the Bear Country Fishing Village Boardwalk on the Homer Pit. It offers full-day fishing charters for halibut or a combo package with lingcod, salmon or rockfish. There are two 37-foot cab cruisers that include a heated cabin, a sitting area and a private restroom. Charters include a professional guide, all equipment and bait, along with all fishing. Guests also receive a continental breakfast aboard the boat as well as hot and cold beverages. Fish packaging for shipment is offered at a discount rate to charter customers. A rental cabin is available and is located adjacent to where the boat is docked for convenience.
