Fort Clinch State Park
Fort Clinch State Park is on Amelia Island near Fernandina Beach and about 10 miles from Yulee. The park holds Fort Clinch, which was used in the Civil War and Spanish-American War. No battles were fought there, but it is a well-preserved 19th century fort. In the 1930s, the Civilian Conservation Corps rebuilt many of the structures and created the park that is there today.There are daily tours with reenactments.
The park is also on the beach where there are many recreational activities. There is a 6-mile trail through the park for hikers and cyclists.
The park has 61 campsites in two campgrounds, all shaded with Spanish moss over oak trees. One campground is on the Amelia River where it enters the ocean, and the other one is on the beach. There are also four group campsites. The campground also has cabins for rent.
Electricity and water are available. Showers and restrooms, bathhouses and laundry facilities are available.

Bow and Arrow Campgrond
The Bow and Arrow Campground in Yulee is just minutes from Interstate 95, or the beaches of Amelia Island. Fort Clinch State Park is a short drive, as well as the Nassau wildlife Management Area.
The campground has 56 sites, many of which are pull-throughs. Cable TV and Wi-Fi are available without extra charge. All sites have full hookups for water, sewer and electric, with 30-amp connections.
The sites are under and around oak trees draped with Spanish Moss. There is a swimming pool and pavilion. Bathrooms and showers are available.

Country Oaks Campground
Country Oaks Campground is just across the Georgia state line in Kingsland. It is just off Interstate 95 and close to St. Marys and Amelia Island. It is also close to the ferry to Cumberland Island National Seashore, which is an undeveloped coastal island that allows no vehicles and only a certain number of visitors each day.
The campground has 44 RV sites, 18 of which are pull-throughs. Full hookups--water, sewer and electric--with up to 50-amp connections are available. All sites are shaded with oak trees. Roads and pads are paved, but there is still grassy areas around the sites.
The campground has free Wi-Fi and cable TV available. Restrooms, showers and a laundry room are available.
There is a pond for fishing that is stocked with bass. Games such as horseshoes and hook and rings are available. The office has a small library where you may check out books.
