RV Parks near Bayonne, New Jersey

Bayonne lies on a peninsula on the eastern border of New Jersey. The Upper Bay, which is a part of the Atlantic Ocean, is all that separates Bayonne from New York. On the western edge of Bayonne is Newark Bay, which connects to a system of rivers that flow through Jersey City and Newark. Tourists visiting Bayonne will find rich historical monuments throughout the area; plenty of RV parks are situated nearby to accommodate the area's growing tourism industry.

Just south from Bayonne, along Point Pleasant, is the Tip Tam Camping Resort. The resort offers three tiers of RV sites, which all include cable television with HBO, water and wireless Internet. Campers can choose between 30- or 50-amp electrical supply. The campground is open from April until September; the peak months are June, July and August and therefore site rates are higher than the other months. Visitors can take advantage of amenities such as a pool, laundry facilities, shower and restroom facilities, various sports courts, recreational buildings and a camp store.

Liberty Harbor Marina and RV Park

Liberty Harbor Marina and RV Park is located in Jersey City, north of Bayonne. Guests staying at this RV park have access to 50 campsites that provide both water and 30- or 50-amp electrical service. There is a dump station on site, as well as restroom and shower facilities. The marina provides 150 boat slips for visitors who are interested in exploring the Upper Bay. Campers can eat at the on-site restaurant, take a bus tour to New York City from the RV park, or visit Ellis Island. The campground is open year-round.

Focused on a family-camping environment, Pine Cone Resort offers 125 wooded campsites that provide picnic table, fire pit, cable television and full hook-ups. Guests can reserve campsites by the night, month or for the whole season.
