The Malibu 2 XL Angler, also made by Ocean Kayaks, is a tandem sea kayak designed for fishing. The two seats are spaced to help prevent rod tangles. There are rod holders, handles for transport, recessed fish hatch storage, deck bungy-cords, a tank well, four deck mounts and paddle leashes. The kayak has a 34-inch beam, making in a very stable at-rest fishing platform. With two paddlers the kayak's beam presents very little hindrance in achieving hull speed when paddling from fishing locale to the next.

The Stealth 12, made by Malibu Kayaks, is a fishing specific solo kayak. There are three storage hatches on the boat, designed for tackle, fish and other relevant gear. The sit-on top design gives a sturdy platform to cast and reel from. There are fixtures where a foot rudder can be installed. Bungy cords keep excess gear readily available on the decks. The Stealth's 33-inch beam makes it solid and stable. Two rod holders located in the front of the boat allow the paddler to rest and enjoy the water while waiting for fish to strike, or troll while paddling.
