Pinnacle
Pinnacle makes pop-up tents that are used in the famous off-road Paris-Dakar Rally across the Sahara Desert. The tents go up quickly, because the poles are left in their housings. All that's required is a quick toss of the tent, much like you'd throw a Frisbee. The tent unfolds during the toss, the poles lock into place and the tent is upright in seconds. Once the tent is open, you simply stake it down. Pinnacle tents Nos. XP3033-2 and XPP60-2 fold down to 34 inches and weigh a svelte 5 lbs. Because these tents are designed for the riggers of adventure racing, early results indicate they can withstand the elements and hard use.
