Fishing Lodges in Thorne Bay, Alaska

Fishing Lodges in Thorne Bay, Alaska
Nestled onto Prince of Wales Island in southeast Alaska, the community of Thorne Bay welcomes anglers to have a go wrestling monster halibut, King salmon and ling cod from the deep saltwater surrounding the island. Freshwater tributaries also provide good sport for Coho salmon and trout. In between time spent on the water, hiking trails wind through ancient forests of boggy muskegs, spruce, hemlock and thick layers of sphagnum moss. Resting from all this activity comes easy in several cozy waterfront lodges.
